Additional Notes on the "Story": Before anyone writes, I know that Grandis is really Italian. When I wrote this story, back in the 1990s, before Nadia was released domestically, there was a debate over her nationality. Since then, definitive proof has surfaced that, while she lived in Spain, she was indeed Italian. Despite that, I think she works better as a Spaniard, so a Spaniard she is. The characters in the story were derived from the following sources: Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon, Fushigi no Umi no Nadia, The Aristocats, and Les Miserables. Any use of real-life characters was completely unintentional and, hopefully, not grounds for libel lawsuits or the like. I guess that's it. Thanks for your time. +G 1/1/2006 |
